Bids

Bid openings will take place on the time stated in the bid proposals.  If county offices are closed for any reason (i.e. inclement weather), all bid openings will be postponed until the following operational workday.  Bids will be opened at the time stated in the solicitation.  Bid proposals are due in the County Judge's Office no later than the specified time of bid openings.

LEGAL NOTICE

INVITATION TO BID

Pope County is accepting sealed bids for perimeter security fencing for the new Pope County Road Department located at 7211 SR 124, Russellville, AR  72802.

Interested bidders SHALL attend an on-site pre-construction meeting on Thursday, April 17th at 10:00 A.M. at the new Pope County Road Department located at the above address.

General Specs:

  • Approximately 4,400 linear feet More/Less
  • 7' chain link with 3 strand barbed wire topper
  • (Manual) cantilevered sliding gate capable of creating a 20' foot opening
  • Provide all materials and labor to install

Copies of Detailed Bid Specifications can be examined and/or obtained by contacting the Pope County Judge's Office at (479-968-7487), 100 W. Main Street Russellville, AR  72801 or pcjo@popecountyar.gov during normal business hours.

All interested bidders are responsible for their own conclusive linear foot measurements.

Corporate bid bond of 5% required of this project.

A Performance and Payment bond in the amount equal to 100% of the contract amount shall be required from the successful bidder.

All written sealed bids shall be submitted to the Pope County Judge's Office at the address listed above by April 22, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at which time bids will be opened.  Bid envelope shall be properly marked as to the bid commodity with the date and hour of opening.

Pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. 22-9-203, Pope County encourages participation of small, minority, and women's business enterprises.

Pope County reserves the right to refuse or reject any or all bids, to waive any formalities and to, in the opinion of the County, accept the bid that is in the County's best interest.
