HeartSaver First Aid with CPR and AED

The AHA's Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is a classroom, Instructor-led course designed to prepare students to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner.  Upon successful completion of the course, including a first aid skills demonstration, CPR, and AED skills test, students receive a Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course completion card, valid for two years.  This course takes approximately 6 hours to complete.

HeartSaver Pediatric First Aid with CPR and AED

The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Course is designed to meet the regulatory requirements for child care workers in all 50 U.S. states. It teaches child care providers and others to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives.  The course covers child/infant CPR, child/infant AED, child/infant choking, and pediatric first aid. Adult modules in CPR, AED and choking are optional.  Upon successful completion of the course, including a first aid skills demonstration CPR, and AED skills test, students receive a Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course completion card, valid for two years.  This course takes approximately 6 hours to complete.

BLS for HCP CPR

The AHA's BLS Provider Course reflects science and education from the 2020 Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC. It teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on high-quality CPR and team dynamics.  In the Instructor-led course, students participate in simulated clinical scenarios and learning stations. Students work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. Students also complete a written exam.  Upon successful completion of the course, including a first aid skills demonstration of CPR and AED skills test, students receive a BLS for Health Care Providers course completion card, valid for two years.  This course takes approximately 4 hours to complete.
